Terms & Conditions

These terms explain how website information, travel enquiries, quotations, and confirmed bookings are handled.

Effective 22 July 2026

Browsing the website or sending an enquiry does not create a booking. A reservation becomes binding only when the required payment is received and written confirmation is issued.

1. Website Information

Descriptions, itineraries, images, durations, and starting prices are provided to help you compare travel options. They may change because of availability, season, vessel schedules, attraction opening hours, river conditions, government decisions, or supplier operations.

Your written quotation and booking confirmation take priority over general website information.

2. Enquiries and Quotations

An enquiry is a request for information and does not hold a cabin, room, vehicle, guide, ticket, or flight. Quotations are based on the dates, group details, and service level supplied at the time and remain subject to availability until confirmation.

The quotation should state the currency, inclusions, exclusions, payment schedule, validity period, and any specific cancellation terms.

3. Prices and Currency

Prices may vary by travel date, nationality rules, occupancy, cabin or room category, exchange rates, fuel costs, taxes, and supplier availability. “Starting from” prices are indicative and are not a promise of availability at that amount.

Any bank, card, currency conversion, or international transfer charges not expressly included remain the customer’s responsibility.

4. Booking and Payment

A booking is confirmed only after we receive the required deposit or full payment and send written confirmation. The payer is responsible for checking names, dates, itinerary, services, room or cabin category, and contact details immediately.

Payment instructions and deadlines will be provided with the quotation. Failure to pay by a stated deadline may release the requested services.

5. Changes and Cancellations by You

Requests to amend or cancel a booking must be made in writing. Supplier fees, price differences, administrative costs, and non-refundable services may apply. The exact cancellation schedule in your confirmed quotation or booking document controls the reservation.

Air tickets, special-event departures, private openings, holiday sailings, and limited-date journeys may be non-refundable or subject to stricter conditions.

6. Operational Changes

We and the relevant suppliers may adjust the order, timing, transport, accommodation, vessel, or visit when reasonably required for safety or operations. Where possible, a comparable alternative will be arranged, but an exact visit order or sailing time cannot be guaranteed.

Events outside reasonable control may include severe weather, navigation restrictions, mechanical issues, strikes, public health events, security measures, government action, site closures, and transport disruption.

7. Passports, Visas, and Insurance

Travellers are responsible for valid passports, visas, entry requirements, permits, vaccinations, and travel documents applicable to their nationality and route. Comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical treatment, evacuation, baggage, and disruption is strongly recommended.

8. Health, Mobility, and Special Requests

Tell us before booking about mobility requirements, medical considerations, dietary needs, or other assistance. We will request suitable arrangements but cannot guarantee a service unless it is confirmed in writing. Archaeological sites, boats, docks, and older vessels may have uneven surfaces or limited accessibility.

9. Suppliers and Traveller Conduct

Cruise operators, hotels, airlines, transport companies, guides, attraction operators, and other providers may apply their own terms. Travellers must follow safety instructions, local law, and reasonable supplier rules. Serious misconduct may lead to refusal of service without refund.

10. Responsibility

We exercise reasonable care in selecting and coordinating requested services. To the extent permitted by applicable law, responsibility for a claim is limited to the service directly affected and excludes losses that could not reasonably have been anticipated. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Website Content and Use

Website text, branding, layout, and original materials may not be copied or commercially reused without permission. You may use the website for personal travel planning and lawful enquiries.

12. Privacy

Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Applicable Law

These terms are governed by the applicable laws of Egypt. The parties should first attempt to resolve a concern promptly and in good faith through written communication.
